PRODUCTION REVIEWS

THE COMPLETE WORKS OF WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
ABRIDGED - Fall 2024

Finding the right players is crucial to the play’s universal appeal. It is difficult to follow a script and riff with the crowd simultaneously. While all three actors did a great job of interacting with the audience, it was Turnblom who truly excelled at this task …The play employs a Commedia dell’arte technique where each actor plays a stock role.  Yednock is the scholar, Turnblom plays the fool, and Mutterperl can best be described as an  "everyman." He is the stand-in for the audience.

“…Director Jarod Glou handles the whirlwind of visual gags, larger-than-life characters, and “words, words, words” with skill. His direction delivers fresh and funny spins on Shakespearean characters and scenes. A less focused director might struggle with the chaotic plot of the show, but Glou commits to keeping things distinct, dynamic, and memorable.

HEATHERS: THE MUSICAL - Summer 2024

“The subject matter of Heathers is no laughing matter, but the sincerity at the show’s core allows it to be playful in its handling of murder, suicide, and the hellish experience of high school. Heathers is a candy store chock full of witty zingers, teenage angst, and electric talent that you won’t want to miss.”
