Our season started with a hilarious adult comedy about the shattering of yuppie bliss, the timelessness of romance and an aged Jewish mother who turns her children's lives upside down in the nicest way.

The Critics Responded... - Ilma Striker fantastically portrays Sophie Greengrass and Maurice Koenig is charmingly played by John Barclay Burns. (Julia Exline). - Bob Sams, who plays David Kahn, did a masterful job of bringing his character to life (Michael Clark)

... and the Buzz Keeps Growing!
Spotlighted in Northern Virginia Magazine's September Entertainment Guide
Falls Church News Press - McLean Players Explore Senior Life & Love with "Social Security" (Kurt Thurber) - Laughter Abounds at the Alden Theatre Starting Friday (Victoria Weseley)
McLean Connection - Wonder and Joy of Life (David Siegel) (front cover and page 17) - Opens as a "Highly Recommended" community theater production.

Aging parents, rebellious college kids and baby boomers facing a mid-life crisis are the basis for this hysterical adult comedy that will have you roaring. When Mother is dropped off to live with her art dealer daughter and son-in-law in Manhattan by the wife's suburban sister and husband, Mother is introduced to a famous aging artist and suddenly everyone discovers that seniors never lose interest in the opposite sex!

"... you can laugh out loud joyfully ... for the play is a hoot and better yet, a sophisticated hoot." N.Y.Post.

Adult situations and language. Suitable for audiences of ages 16 and up.
